Reflective Journal
Week 1
The aim of reviewing my previous projects and skills is that I could make my projects better, and for skills is to identify ares for improvement. It also will help me to understand what I can do differently next time and how my creative or technical skills have developed over time.

After reviewing my skills , I'm considering to focus on photography, graphic design, editing pictures/videos, because it is well related with what I want to do in my project. I have noticed my strengths in attention to detail, curiosity, noticing light or shadows, and the weaknesses that are challenging for me to grow like camera settings knowledge and sometimes lighting.

Class mind mapping

Reflective Journal
Week 2

We were doing mindmapping in the groups and everyone chose to put the pictures they liked and everyone put nice pictures and we all had different idea and thoughts based on the pictures.

With these locations I would like to take pictures there at different places and time, because I'm passionate to take pictures of nature and different buildings or just outside. What appeals about nature is its beauty and calm, like bright colours, textures, and gives you a break from noise and stress. What appeals about buildings is its design like shapes, the colours of the building and contrast like modern or ancient architecture.

I put pictures of a beach and mountains as an inspiration, and it does impact on my projects because I don't have beaches and mountains where I live, so I will have to find beauty in the quieter places around me.

Wix
Website for a location
07/03/2025

I used WIX Website Editor to make my own website for a location. It is about History Museum and I put lots of different pictures of historical items. It is for people who are interested in exploring old things from past and discover history. IN my opinion it looks good and I'm satisfied with my website. I could also change the size of the pictures, so if someone looks at the website they get an idea what is it about and to make it look more interesting.

Practical experimentation (Vinny)

Reflective Journal
Week 3
For this experiment, I used Adobe Photoshop to edit my miniature photography that I tried to do for the first time. I changed Brightness, Texture, Tint, Vibrance, Saturation and Clarity. Overall, I really liked the process of putting small figures in different positions and places. Some of the figures are sitting down and some of them are standing up.

I also experimented with miniature toys and multiple human figures, I had to put them in different positions like standing and sitting. It was an interesting and long process, but needs patience because the figures can move or not stand in the position you put them, also the lighting and it doesn't need to be over or under exposed.

I would like to produce my own miniature photography but using different background, miniature toys or different shapes.

Max Huber

Max Huber was one of the pre-eminent twentieth century Swiss graphic designers. He designed art covers for music magazines, records and the set stage for concerts. Besides, he exhibited his work internationally and worked as an art instructor.

He began his career working for an advertising agency in 1935. Later he worked for Emil Schultness at Conzett & Huber and met Hans Neuburg and Max Bill. In order to avoid being conscripted into army at the advent of World War II, he decided to move to Milan and join the Studio Boggeri.

Magazine for La Sagrada Familia Basilica
19/05/2025
Front page

2 pages inside the magazine

Back page

I used InDesign to make my magazine about La Sagrada Familia Basilica. I used Rectangle Frame Tool to place images in all pages of the magazine, Type Tool to write information about the church. I used different type face like "Forte", "Arial Rounded MT Bold", "Minion Variable Concept (Semibold)" and "Magneto (Bold)". The information that I wrote about the church is not mine, so I searched their website and I took this information from:

My pictures at Southend-on-Sea
08/06/2024

To edit these pictures at the sea, I used Adobe Photoshop Express. To make these pictures look more bright and shiny I changed exposure, contrast, shadows, temperature, brightness and saturation. In the first picture, I really like the three colour gradient in the sky (yellow, white and blue). And in the second and third picture, I really like the blue and shiny sea and I think that’s what pops out more when you look at the photos.
